John & Billie Jo {Waupaca Wedding Preview}

I took John & Billie Jo's engagement photos in the fall of last year and they just tied the knot at the Ale House in Waupaca, Wisconsin. After the wedding we were able to sneak away to the Red Mill. Here is a short preview of their photo shoot together. Full preview to follow!

Dan & Andrea {Chicago Engagement}

I had the pleasure of meeting Dan and Andrea a few short weeks ago over strawberry lemonade, little did I know, they would be asking me to come to Chicago to take their engagement photos. They had one request, Chicago skyline near sunset; I think we nailed it! After braving the cool wind coming off of Lake Michigan for nearly two hours, we made our way to the lake walk next to the Adler Planetarium. Previously, we were making the grounds surrounding the Shedd Aquarium our personal outdoor studio. Dan & Andrea were perfect subjects, accenting the Chicago Skyline, their chemistry evident in so many of the photographs. This is one of my favorites, a short preview. They were so patient with me as I jumped about as they shivered in the damp wind. It gave them a great excuse to love on another and share their warmth. It might be similar circumstances during their New Years winter wedding! Thank you both for an amazing two hours. The kids loved the Shedd and the timing could not have been more perfect. We made it home to Medford, WI, kids exhausted from a full day of the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Aquarium, and swimming the night before, at 3:30 in the morning. More to come!

Chris + Jackie {Milwaukee Art Museum Engagement Shoot!}

I have always wanted to do a shoot at the Milwaukee Art Museum after taking a high school trip to Milwaukee Junior year. I could not have asked for a more easy going and sweet couple. Chris & Jackie call Milwaukee home and will be getting married in Eau Claire later this summer. The trip was well worth it! The kids were able to hang at the hotel with my sister, who is visiting from Utah, and my brother's girl friend. There is a sense of accomplishment that comes from surviving a weekend with 7 small lives in a crammed van heading to a large city. We were kept safe by the one who saves! Here is a preview of what is to come...

Rib Lake Wedding

Julie & Daniel got hitched! {Wisconsin Rapids Wedding}

Julie & Daniel were married this past Saturday at Camp Alexander in Wisconsin Rapids. They had an intimate outdoor ceremony with closest friends and family. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon as they shared each other's personal vows. I love that! Their adorable son was the ring bearer and to top off the night there was a photo booth with costumes. The bride's shoes and red bride's maid's dresses were a beautiful contrast against the green and blue of the lake below.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Carissa {Meford Senior 2012}

Chris & Sam are getting married!

Words can't express the true love I have for this couple. They happen to be my in laws to be, but they have been family for a long time. We had quite the adventure on our Merrill engagement shoot. They will be getting married 6-9-12 next summer; looking forward to being in the wedding and shooting it. We will see how that goes!!!




Sam is a Kristen Steward look-a-like (we think so) from the Twilight Saga, so we went with the whole Bella and Edward feel on this one.














Sam & Chris' Wedding will be at the Great Dane in Wausau.
